Cash Handling Training is mandatory annual training for all City employees who accept funds in the course of their duties and for all City of Ottawa local boards, volunteers, students, elected officials, contractors, consultants, and business partners who accept funds on behalf of the City.

Employees play a key role for consistent handling of funds, safeguarding of assets and ensuring their own and their colleagues’ safety. The purpose of this training is to help you understand what your responsibilities are when you are receiving and processing funds, and to ensure you are familiar and compliant with the corporate Cash Handling Policy and Procedures.
