This course is designed to help increase awareness surrounding harassment, violence and domestic violence in the workplace. In addition, the course will identify and assess the risk of violence in the workplace and provide preventative strategies to reduce workplace violence occurrences.
OC Transpo recognizes that workers are at risk for workplace violence and is committed to minimizing these risks by taking all reasonable measures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
The purpose of the Violence Prevention in the Workplace Program is to foster a healthy, safe and respectful workplace by minimizing the possibility of violent incidents or harassment occurring in a Transit Services’ workplace and to ensure that should such incidents occur, they are managed appropriately
