These self-guided courses are an exciting opportunity for you to learn more about rainwater management techniques that can be put into practice around your home. The courses are free, bilingual and open to all residents of Ottawa.
The four courses being offered are:
- Stormwater Introduction and Rain Ready Ottawa Overview
- Downspout Redirections
- Rain Garden Installation
- Soakaways and Trenches
If you live in a stormwater retrofit priority area, the completion of these courses will allow you to become eligible for up to $5,000 in Rain Ready Ottawa rebates without getting a home assessment or needing to use a Fusion Landscape Professional.
Specifically, completing these courses will make you eligible for the following rebates: Downspout Redirection, Rain Gardens, and Soakaway pit rebates. You will need to download and save your completion certificates, as you will need this to prove eligibility.
Taking these courses will not make you eligible for permeable pavement or certified Fusion Landscape Professional (FLP) design rebates.
